Overview

Challenge

Northstone are a modern residential property development company that looks beyond the horizon on how to change residential landscapes for the better.

With an ageing website and brand that did not reflect this vision and direction, Northstone approached Red-Fern to help pivot the brand, creativity and technology into a new direction with a new digital flagship focused on building the brand whilst improving the user experience when researching new properties and developments.

Approach

Having such a strong vision, it was imperative that we profiled the target audience to inform the creative approach whilst documenting the technology roadmap with HubSpot. Our approach was to create clean, clear and modern visuals with an intuitive property search and informative property pages, while striking a balance between culture, community and the house types.

This reimagined creative direction, technology and marketing strategy delivered an engaging user experience whilst giving clear conversion points for visitors to potentially become house buyers.

All these reimagined digital touch points invoke emotions of trust, community and quality houses driven by the brand’s mission.

With Northstone investing heavily in a new modern brand that reflected their approach to building communities and houses, retaining this brand authority was key.

Our creative team approached this by defining clear information and credibility pages that would support a users journey whilst searching for their ideal property.

Creating a narrative around families and support through the whole home buying journey has had a positive impact on all the website and conversion metrics.

Creating an intuitive development and property search for increased engagement.

With multiple developments around the north of England and future developments in the pipeline it was key that the property development page had the ability to grow organically whilst retaining a high-level user experience.

The Red-Fern project strategy team initially scoped out how this would be achieved, making sure the developments and plots could be fully editable with all the property data, rich images and videos whilst retaining the design system.

 

Relationship.

The teams at Red-Fern and Northstone have now been working together for over two years and continue to grow the partnership with a deeply collaborative process.
