Challenge

IrvinGQ® specialise in aerospace and defence solutions. With a history dating back to 1919, they have always been a trusted name in the industry.

For IrvinGQ’s® flagship experience we were tasked with crafting a full digital strategy that repositioned its trusted products, history and brand reputation through creativity and technology. For a brand with so much heritage that truly lives it’s values, it was imperative that the user experience across all the digital assets echo that — meaning that our challenge was to create and implement a cohesive digital road map for the brand, technology and marketing touch points.

Approach

Having such a strong heritage in the aerospace and defence industry, IrvinGQ® has always maintained a strong voice and brand. Our approach was to elevate this heritage and industry trust, bringing it to life in a clear, simple execution, while striking a balance between culture, the trusted product range, heritage, and innovation. One that resonates with the end users and influencers in the procurement process to consider the impact of their choices.

The reimagined creative direction, technology and marketing strategy serve as a product and brand hub for both end users and procurement professionals, through a cohesive digital style guide, UX principles, and a consistent narrative.

All these reimagined digital touch points invoke emotions of trust, safety, heritage, proven products and innovation, and is entirely driven by the brand’s mission.

It was paramount that the technology and design experience was personalised and always relevant to the target audience.

A core goal goal of the project was to ultimately guide users to the correct product and the technical details that supported each product.

By implementing clear calls-to-action, product cards on each page and making sure users could navigate the full product suite, the website never allows a user to hit a dead end. As a result, users are directly routed through strategic user funnels in one seamless UX flow.
